I look around and see that there are 3 kinds of injectors for the RX-8. My question is what kind of injectors would have been present on an S1 from 2004?

I am trying to replace 2 of a set of 4 and I think those are the yellow ones, so before I drop $300 on parts it would be nice to know if I am looking at the problem the right way.

Apologies for being a noob about this topic, but every other post I see is either talking about aftermarket upgrades or a total flame-war.

 

Do you have an automatic or manual? Since you mentioned yellows, I assume you have a manual and if so the P1's (most inboard injectors) are two red injectors and the P2's (most outboard) are four yellows.
