I used the search feature and couldn't find this topic, might have been posted before. I'm thinking about replacing my stock headlights with Xenon headlights. However, I do know that cheap Xenon knock-offs sometimes give off blue-ish tint and eventhough I think they look AWESOME, they are alas, illegal. I read on google somewhere that the legal limit, at least in CA where I live, is 5200K color temp. Blue is around 8000K so they are illegal.

So:
1. Are Blue Xenon Lights really illegal in CA?
2. What is a good Xenon headlight brand, preferably not over $100, ones that won't burn out and still give off good amount of light?

I can't speak for Cali laws but the lights I have are D2S HID Xenon 8000K Brilliant Blue. Awesome light and relatively cheap. If you want the link PM me.

 

dont know about cali laws...

go here... these are HID kits... and yes the prices are real... I installed these kits on all my cars... my 8 came stock with the HIDs.. but I changed the bulbs to 6000k and added 6000k HID fogs...
