Hi I'm rebuilding my 2004 RX8 engine (low compression) 75k on the clock and noticed the inside of vdi valve is spanking clean like new, is It possible it's never opened there's no engine light on the dash either

 

how often do you rev past 7200 ?

 

To be honest quite a lot I'm always going up to 8000 or 9000 but to say the car is nearly10 years old the inside of the valve is like new it's pristine
