Amazing Shrinking Attachment Quota

It appears the number and size of attachments we can store has been reduced. I had 2.5+ MB of attachments, try to add two more and it says my max is now 1 MB? Really? Is this 1993 all over again?

I'd have to delete half my pictures to add a new one. This is new because I added a bunch of pics earlier this week and didn't hit any limit. WTF?

Edit: zoom44 fixed it! Thanks!

There's nothing the Mods or Admins can do about this.

Not even ask IB why? And why there was no notice? Are they trying to kill the forums?

Don't misunderstand me, I know you guys are in the middle, but sure seems like they are squeezing ever harder. What with the ads on pictures, then viglink garbage, now drastically cutting attachment space.

Will IMG links now be allowed in the DIY section?

Tell them we're considering getting a movement started to transition everyone over to rcc. They'll appreciate that, Al / Zoom.

Yes...............it does!!!!!

Trying something here as a test, will delete in a few moments...............if I can even attach it!

Nope, won't attach...............says the puny file(772 KB) I was trying to attach is 78.86 MB over my limit...........wth?

What is our new limit, and AL............if we are forced to start deleting all our old attachments, there are a ton of threads that will just go to hell......won't they?

this has got to be an oversight as a result of the new roles going in.

You are currently using 27.90 MB to store 232 uploaded attachments.
Whatever the limit is it's less than 27mb.... clearly less than the 79mb you've used up, Mazurfer.

^......................Yep, I mean I could go back and see what all I could delete without wreaking absolute havoc(don't feel I have that many BS pictures, but there are a few),
but if everyone had to do this..........we would simply have an implosion and this site wouldn't even be worth logging into.
All the DIY's would just go bye-bye..........etc.

I was trying to help someone out earlier and couldn't post a pic, so I had to go and see where there was one I might be able to link him to.

FIXED!!!:D

it was my fault. when i made the new regular member user group i needed to make that limit 0 in order for you to not run into the default limit.
