What Happens in Vegas 6 - Caravan Thread
With this meet QUICKLY approaching, I wanted to have a place for all of the caravans to post their information.
This is the exact same format we've used for years with much success
**this year, I will not be able to attend the caravan as I'll already be in Vegas but if someone wants to take the lead, please feel free**
SoCal Caravan:
Alright guys, for those of you who are coming from SoCal, here is the game plan for Friday the 17th.
The idea is to meet up early to avoid the traffic and hopefully the CHP.
Burger King
4649 Mills Cir. Ontario, CA 91764
8:00 am
This is right off the 15 Freeway so you should be able to find it easily. I picked this location because it's easy to get to regardless of whether you're coming down the 91 fw, 60 fwy (from LA), or even the 10 fwy.
There appears to be a Mobil Station right off the freeway AND a Shell Station next to the BK.
The caravan will be departing after a quick breakfast which should be at 8:30 Make sure you are fueled up and ready to leave by then
From Ontario you'll be going non-stop to Barstow where you'll top off the cars, stretch your legs for a few minutes and hit the road for VEGAS!
The caravan should be arriving in Barstow no later then 9:30 and you'll be in Vegas around noon.

If you have two way radios (aka Walkie Talkies), make sure they're charged and bring them with you. They'll come in handy for the long drive

Thanks for starting the thread Jorge. Celeste and I will be joining the caravan in Barstow as we are in Ventura Co. and Ontario is out of the way.

Sooo.....
Boss Man is also taking that Friday off. Only one of us off is allowed. He has the trump card so I'm out for the Caravan on Friday. Will bail out from Riverside on Friday around 4 instead.

Just Hex still the only one meeting in Ontario? Still not sure if I'll make the caravan or not. Still trying to work out some one to drop my kids off to school in the morning, hoping their mom will let me drop them off the night before.
My schedule has been messed with once again. Seems that now I will be bailing out from San Diego, not Riverside. At least that means I can go earlier in the day. Gonna shoot for 3.

if you leave at 4.30 you'll still be two hours ahead of me since your leaving from riverside.
i'll be leaving L.A. no later then 4.30 i hope. but if things work out differently
we could def. meet up somewhere along the way.
