It's time to do it and I've asked for a quote from my local dealer and a reputable mazda shop and I'm not too interested.

The dealer wants $600 for brake fluid change, transmission fluid change, diff service, and change out the plugs.

The shop wants $750 for basically the same thing, half for labor.


So I think I'll attempt myself, doesn't seem too hard really. Couldn't f'up more than the dealer who left the coolant cap loose which lead to this...

 

Check the DIY threads. Since Team cleaned up the forum its pretty easy to find what is needed to get done. And most of the DIYs are done at home in the driveway. Should save you about half im guessing. Just make sure to save receipts and write it in the service records book for future reference if warranty issues should arise.

 

Do it yourself, its much cheaper than those bozos...lol
