Hello everyone...

Ok so Ive been driving my rx-8 for about a week now, And i love the damn thing to death. Theres only three problems.

1) I dislike the red, and im not a HUGE fan of the white, cluster and dash lights. Ive searched on here, and on google, and only came up with a DIY on changing them on the mazda 3. Has anyone on her changed the dash lights and cluster lights to a color other than red? (I want to leave the white if there led's, and change the red to blue... I like the white but not the red you see.)

2) I LOVEEE that the car came with what I can make an assumption to be the zenon bulbs. But the manual dosent say the bulb size and i found a thred on here that said the highs were h9*Ithink* and the fogs were h11*Ithink*
Can anyone confirm the lowbeam headlight modle? I want to change them to 10000k coolblue HID's.

3) Ive been looking on ebay and im seeing thease attatchments you can get for the stock radio that claim to allow you to use your radio and steeringwheel controls to controll an Ipod using this adapter. Anyone got any comments on this?

For point #3 I'm assuming you have a series 1 RX-8 (2004-2008) and not series 2 (2009-2011). I have the GROM adapter installed in my 2008 with their add-on the bluetooth dongle and it generally works well with my Android phone. I can stream music over bluetooth or plug it in via a 1/4" plug the installer put in the center console. I don't use any Apple products so no experience with controlling an iPod but it looks like they sell a cable that permits this with their adapter.

Thanks alot... Ive searched the fourms with the google method and with the search in the fourm... Neither have yeilded results so ill manualy check thru the electronics fourm..
