Help with Rebuild - what can I get away with not replacing

Guys,

I recently bought an RX8, which I thought had blown coolant seals. The great news is the seals are fine! The bad news is it appears the engine was run without oil. The eccentric shaft and intermediate housing are all torn up.

I fairly new to Rotaries and engine rebuilds in general. What do you think of the following pictures? Do I need to replace these parts or could I get away with it? Could the shaft be ground if I could find someone to do it?

I'm going to need a new bearing

Could this be ground off?

Thanks

Easiest way to get back on the road is to buy a low mile engine to swap in.....

That engine is toast

Thanks

Could you tell me why it's toast though? Can the parts be ground or re-surfaced?
