just got a 192ps had new radiator fitted,everthing fine and car running well. Didnt use car for a couple of days due to bad snow so i thought i would start up to let it run for five minutes,it ran for five minutes then cut out.struggled to start it again and when it started the engine warning light started flashing and then stayed on after a minute or so the revs start dropping then it cuts off again. last night it did it again and now it wont start at all. Please help me.

 

how many miles on it ?
Is battery strong and turning starter over quickly ? At least as quick as the good starter in this thread ?

have plugs leads and coils been replaced since new ?

 

Hi,64000,dont know if anything has been replaced as i have only had it 3 weeks it did try to start now and again,now its just turning over smoothly.

Sounds to me like it is badly in need of a service .... IE plugs wires coils

And it is now flooded .

 

picking new plugs up on monday,why would the engine warning light be on though? Thanks for your help.
