After my engine got flooded and replaced

Now my steering wheel allignment is off and the dealer says while the battery was off (when they were putting the new engine in) the DSC sensor inside the RACK was damaged and they're claiming that it's not their fault....
So they're asking for 1500 for new rack just for parts if I want to replace it... or I could just keep on riding my car w/o traction control.
Is it possible that it's not their fault? I mean everything was fine with the car but after they replaced the engine they messed up with steering wheel allignment and now my traction light is always on... It happened right when i was getting out of the dealer so i went right back in there they had me come back like 5 times and finally they decided that it wasn't their fault... and they were trying to explain to me how DSC sensor is inside ther rack and how it's not even possible to mess with it....

Then how do they explain my steering wheel alignment being off and my dsc sensor being messed up.... I mean why would my DSC sensor get messed up within 7 days that my car was in dealers while getting a new engine unless it's something they didn't do....

any suggestions on what I should do? Talk to the Mazda myself? or just keep on telling the dealer that it's their fault?...

help!!!

is it flashing or what? everytime you disconnect the battery you need to start the engine, turn the steering wheel from left end to right end to calibrate DSC.

what do you mean by steering wheel alignment is off?

it's not flashing. When I start the car and start driving for like 1/4 mile or so the traction light comes on not the DSC light the one with squigly line and tire looking light. Lets say you don't turn dsc off and start drifting you know that light comes on in the middle(idk if that explains T_T)
uhh I did the steering wheel from left end to right end and dealer also said the light would go away in 10 miles of driving or so but it never did!

Steering wheel alignment meaning in order for me to go straight my steering wheel has to be tilted to the right lil bit. so if my steering wheel was straight car would go to the left

is ABS working or not? could be one of the ABS sensors.

steering wheel off center is an alignment problem and it can be adjusted.

and if there was no problem before going in the shop, its really their fault you should talk to the manager.

abs is not working and they try to jump a teeth(thats what they said) and they damaged the alignment thingie so bad that they said they'll order it and get the new teeth or whatever and will align it for free but they said ABS sensor or whatever is inside the steering RAck and that it could not be replaced unless you order the whole rack which is 1500 from dealers(just the part price) they're claiming that it's not their fault because sensor is inside the rack so they didn't mess anything with it..... the manager was saying that it's not their fault "if the light bulb blows while we went in to your room and try to turn it off... it was just old and wasgonna blow anyways..."

I mean its not like i dont' get that sensor is inside the steering rack.... but if it happeend while getting the new engine... am i really responsible for 1500dollar part?
I really don't know what to do... the manager seems to have no interest in fixing it for free.

Id fix the abs first then worry about the steering rack.

Well ABS light isn't on and what I meant by ABS not working is that because TSC/DSC light is always on its like I have DSC off all the time so pretty much I'll be sliding everywhere when it's raining and stuff..... and to fix that dealer says I need to replace the rack...
