Has anyone done mazdamaniac calibration?

If you've had the mazdamaniac calibration done I'd like to know what your opinion of it is. I'm currently waiting for my calibration to be emailed back to me.

Have you glanced over these threads:

Many people, including myself, has his tune.
I'm happy overall.
Just be patient between tunes... Jeff is a busy guy.
Plus... your car doesn't NEED that tune right away (unless you're FI) so don't freak out if it takes longer than usual to receive the next map.

asking for opinions/reviews after youve already made purchase... seems like a good aproach to me.

anyway, you wont find comparable tuning for even double the price as far as i know

I've been waiting since July 2nd. I think there's some sort of mysterious proceedure where he puts it in a folder somewhere and you're supposed to get it there, but who knows. Good luck (because that's what it seems to take).

I don't have any outstanding calibrations that old in my queue. I'm caught up through July 28th.
What is your real name? Maybe your user name is misspelled for your calibration folder.

think cowboy hat. i resent the original calib just now to apmazdamaniac. it may well already be completed in a folder somewhere, but i haven't recieved or found instructions as to where that might be. I sent a followup inquiry plus posted a couple of things online, wrt to this, but never got anything back.

The purchase was made with some very specific plans in mind: settings for power and economy for both stock and modified. I'm still stock, waiting for the first tune. Got it first of June, returned the car to stock + BHR coils, two weeks for repair of the Cobb (which would only work for a short period of time), then sent the original 11 questions 2 July. I'd hoped to be finished well before now, but tomorrow I'm off to a long-planned research thing overseas which will take up most of September. So June+July+Aug+Sept = 4 months. Your queue is a month deep. So, assuming I get the 1st calibration by the time I get back, I might get one more in before winter or the 6 month limit expires. Disappointing.

Don't worry about the 6 months.

Oh sure! As an abide-by-the-rules guy (well, 'cept occasionally that speed limit thing) I accepted my time had run out over my last-winter's hybernation. Now you tell us/me!

Well, it is sorta a case-by-case thing.
But if the delays are on my end, I'm not gonna clamp-down on the expiration.
