Ok so my clutch went outa my car a couple days ago. I have not taken it apart yet to see exactly what all went wrong, but i have the act flywheel and act hd clutch kit on my car right now. Im pretty sure that the clutch pad itself just shredded and is no good, so hopefully all i will have to do it replace the pad and be fine. Now my question is can i replace the hd pad with acts puck clutch pad, and use the same pressure plate that i have? the reason for going to the puck clutch is just financially its cheap 150 bux for acts puck clutch and i cant seem to find the replacement of the pad i have in it right now.

I feel kinda dumb asking this but ive replaced clutches but always just used the whole kit never mismatched stuff or just bought a pad. so if you guys could give me some advice or let me know if that will work ide appreciate it. need to get this fixed pretty soon as cheaply as i can.

oh and i know all about the puck and chatter and i dont need that massive of a clutch, like i said i would be buying the puck clutch b/c its the cheapest clutch pad replacment for the act kit i can find.
