this post is for ne one living in tx because idk the laws about emissions in other states. I have a custom catback exhaust no muffler just custom y pipe to replace muffler. Its about that time for state inspection now some places state that if you have a cat your fine but others say you must have a muffler now idk if ne one else has had this problem but just dont wanna go in to get then inspection and fail and still have to pay for it.

 

Put the stock CAT and muffler back in..there is no way you can pass an emissions test without a CAT and a muffler

You can go back to your custom setup after the inspection
