I was looking at my car and to me the car looks lower than the typical height that I have been seeing of other RX-8s. So I am suspecting either the last owner changed the springs and/or shocks or the car is sagging from worn suspension. I looked inside the wheel-well and found this number for the shocks: F157-28 .... Is that the number for stock struts? The spring just look like a normal black color can lowering springs be black too?

the RX-8 doesn't have struts.

i will say that i have seen various totally stock RX-8s at differeing front ride heights. i have a friend with an '04 GT, and his car is a lot lower than my '04 base; i have another friend with an '05 Sport that rides a lot higher than mine. *shrug*
