hey guys i dont really know much about seafoam and was wondering what the point of it is if we should use it and how thanks.

 

Seafoam is used to clean the carbon deposits left after burning oil in our engines.

does seafoam come withthe rubber tube or did you just happen to have something?

What 2 stroke would one suggest that you can buy at autozone or AAP?

I dont normmaly premix but I don't like the idea of cranking dry.

 

^ rather get a case of Idemitsu 2-cycle premix. At 4 - 8 oz per tankful it will last you a long time.

Seafoam is very good (a long heritage in marine engine use), but so is Lucas and most of the other decarbing solutions.

 

should you do it before you change oil plugs and wires or after?

 

I did this on my car before changing anything else. It helped a lot! It wasn't the only thing wrong with my car but it helped. I say start with the least expensive and work your way up. My car was having big idling problems to the point that it stalled once at a light. Asking around people told me to replace the plugs, coils, wires, etc. also to change the engine mounts. So this process was the least expensive of all and I went ahead and did it. You see even if I bought the plugs, coils and wires my engine will still be filled with crud (probably fouling my new plugs in the process). So I did this first. And it work (to a certain extent) no more rough idles at lights.
I still replaced my coils later on with a BHR Kit (awesome by the way).

Bottom line this is a process you will not regret and your engine will love you for it!
