There are a lot of us with this....

I think it is a great fix for the problem....

Others say...weld the stock bracket

Personally...Mine's been in for 2+ years....and the bracket is solid as a rock

^Agree with dan. I've had this bracket on for a year now and its great. Once the squeaking started I was always scared I was going to break my clutch pedal, especially at the track. After installing there is no squeak, and the clutch pedal is much more firm. Definitally a must have because these clutch pedals will break eventually.

I think the biggest difference between this product and the weld method is the availability of a reliable local welder you can trust. This product is a great alternative for those that don't have a local welding option that they can trust.

Ordered one myself. Had Mazda weld it for a quick fix, but has started squeaking again. Installing it the day it gets here!

definately overkill but a good alternative if you don't have access to a welder

Its a great piece and definitely worth the money and time to install. I can't imagine just welding the pedal assembly would be anywhere close to as strong as this bracket makes it.

Before:

A few of the finished product:

Might be overkill, but it surely wont break. Took about 4 hr's to do and I am pretty slow with DIY's.
