Desperately need oil feed for Greddy turbo

Greeting,
I am in the middle of my turbo install and noticed the other day my kit does not have either of the oil lines. I have most of my engine tore apart and really dont want to put it back together just because I dont have the oil lines and to get one from Greddy said it will take about 8 weeks. The shop I went too, (thinking the line was universal) said that Greddy has their own thread pattern and nothing will work besides a Greddy. Im asking, does anyone still have theirs that they dont need cause they went with the MM upgrade? If anyone has one that they want to sell and can send it over night, (My expense of course) I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Adam

All turbos require oil, because all turbos have bearings. Bearing need oil or they burn up. Oil is for lubrication, water is for cooling (like an engine).

Ok, well back in the same situation. The oil feed I purchased has a giant leak at the crush fitting above the nut at the turbo. Does anyone else have a line that not broken? Still not sure where I can find a new one and I dont want to take the turbo apart change out the fitting. ANy help??

Its just the stainless steel oil line that comes with the Greddy kit. I was told that greddy has special fittings so you cant put a universal line on without changing the adapter in the turbo. Ill snap a pic tomorrow of the line on the car if you still need it.

Really? The guy at PTP said that Greddy has their own thread pattern for the turbo and said something about it being a british fitting. MM said I can put an AN4 adapter in the turbo but I have no clue how to take a turbo apart and dont even want to try it. If you have information saying something else, that would be great! Thanks Greg!

for the oil feed to the turbo, there is a tube adapter that has two bolts. It is just a tube that the SS line slips over with a fitting. I dont think there are any threads other than the two little bolts holding the tube adapter to the turbo core.

Is it leaking at that gasket or from the SS line?

Its leaking like an inch above the nut that is screwed onto the turbo. Theres the nut on the bottom of the line, then a skinny pole, then that looks like its all held on with a crush fitting. Its leaking below that crush fitting where the pole is inserted. If that makes sense.....
