hi i know it is a good question since i dont know how to do it ,i aprreciate info in how to perform federing the clutch. i try to look in the search area ut couldnt find info. i have my rx8 3 months ago and i join a car club 1 month ago i have been doing drag races and my times on 60 ft, 2.3 - 2.5 doing 15.4 in 1/4 mile. i kow i need practice to do it good but if you know the easy way to do it let me know. what im doing is rev to 7000 rpm let the clutch but im having massive burns . let me know who you do it and i will try it on friday night , THANKS

 

"feathering" the clutch is what you do when you let off the pedal slow enough not to stall when driving normally.... in racing terms... dont just let of the clutch all at once and hope for the best, ride it a bit... and 7K rpms is too high... try about 4500..
also, what is your rear tire pressure?

 

Hi I Was Running With 28 Psi Back And 30 Psi On Front . I Did Try To Go At 5000 But Almost Got Beat By A Gti Turbo . When I We Went Again The Same Day Rev At 7000 I Won By More Since Then I Have Been In High Rev .
