Yeah I have full coverage so I should be alright. Just the $500 deductable and the fact I only had the car for a few months that sucks.

As for bagging the deer... well this one got away but I'll get his daddy this fall. Maybe his momma too!

There are tons where I live, I always wondered what would happen if I hit one in the 8, I thought it would go through the windshield, but cool, it doesn't.

Nope that rash is courtesy of a 6" deep pot hole I didn't see. One of the many we now have thanks to our crazy winter and flooding we had this year. That hole actually ripped the sidewall right off the tire.

 

For those out in the boonies.... Do deer whistles on the car really work?

 

^ deer whistles seem to stop the deer dead in their tracks versus scaring them off the roads..

When I hit my deer it was in mid air jumping into the road. Fortunally I didn't have my RX8 back then!

 

Yeah this isn't my first time. Had an 88 Vette a while back and hit a deer going down the highway. It cracked every panel down the driver side.

 

Ouch! hate to see something like that happen. I hope they fix it right away.
