Has anyone experienced CDs getting stuck in the dash when it's hot outside? Every day after work when I hit "Eject" to switch CDs, they get stuck. I can see them lift up and slide towards the slot, but then it stops, and I can't get them out. How do I fix this?

It's teh single disc Bose system.

ii find this happens on CDs with lots of graphics on them...i use another cd to push it back in then i hit eject again and it comes right out

 

What are these "CD's" you speak of?


Do you use a sun screen in your car? Sound like they're doing the cd-pucker from the heat.

 

It happens on EVERY CD, graphics or not, CD-R or not. I used another CD ot get the first one out yesterday, and it ended up scratching both of them.

I don't use a sunscreen. I'm honestly not disciplined enough to ALWAYS use it and put it away like I should. But I've never had this happen in any other car. Although it does seem like the RX-8's CD Player is higher up in the dash than most.

Does anyone with an aftermarket CD or DVD player have this problem?

 

I've never had the problem, never heard of anyone here having it either, maybe you should get it replaced with the MP3 cd player (assuming it works on bose)
