DAMMIT!!!! I waited all winter for this event , wanted to go and then the day they set up for it is the only weekend in May I can't be there. I have a wedding I have to go to... this sucks. WHoever goes make sure you get LOTS of pics to show off on the boards.

 

i'd go if i wasn't tombraiding in egypt that weekend.

does anyone know around what time the final round is over?

I see the whole event is from 10am - 10pm, but I fail to believe the actual drifting lasts 12 hours

d1gp rocks. glad they are coming out to our coast this year.

actual drifting, well in events past the drifting isn't a 12 hour block obviously, but does last between 4 and 6 hours for the brackets. there are usually rather long brakes in between the brackets.

from what i remember somewhere between 6 and 7pm we'd be leaving irwindale, and the final ceremony was still going on.

practice runs usually happen in the morning up until around noon when they start the event.

then again, its been awhile since ive been to an event. maybe they changed it around.

 

anyone from MD or VA wanna meet up and roll up with me??

nice ****** shirt!!!!!!!!!!! i want one!!!!. lol. hey rotor u went on the 5th or 6th???? i went the 5th and i saw the rx8 almost wreck twice!!! but the driver saved it beautifully!!! and u shouldve been there at around 8pm on the 5th cuz the drifters did an exhibition for anyone still i the park for free!!!!! it was sweet all 6 cars were drifting at once and they did ill *** tricks. like both sti's from team orange were on the opposite sides of the course and came towards eachother and drifted past one another on the same curve!!! and then there was the 2 groups of 3 cars that were doing donuts around eachother!!! it was great. ill post the pics when i can. i even took a pic with one of the head guys of D1!!!!!
