Nissan Altima coupe..?

Images surfaced online Saturday of what appears to be a Nissan Altima coupe. The photos were taken outside the California Bear Credit Union in downtown Los Angeles on Friday. It's not clear what the vehicle was doing in LA, but the presence of a large crew suggests a photo shoot may have been underway.

I could be completely wrong but that looks like the rear wheel drive platform that the Z and G35 use.

It does mimic a lot of the Z's lines. Not sure that it's the same platform, but it definitely looks rather similar. I've been hating Nissan's designs lately, but this one kind of looks nice.

more like toyota solara accord v6 coupe competition, if this is real and not photochopped.

autoblog suggest it might be the return of the silvia based on a rwd platform, which sounds to me like a load of bull. but if its true then nissans got it self a winner.

It looks like a hand me down G35 coupe for Nissan now that the Infiniti is getting redesigned for 2008.

the sloping roof line and rear window closely resemble that of a G35. Should be interesting to see this thing on the road.

Um, could this not just be a nissan badged g35? Where else is Infinity marketed? Could it be for a different international market where re-badging isn't done?

There it is there, no? Skyline coupe?

*re-edit* filming a japanese comercial...must be...

Actually it doesnt look anything like the 8, a bit like the g35?
In either case its still a bulky car imo.
My mom has one, and as an excellent family car, thats about all the credit I would give it.
Good amount of blind spots, turning sux, parking is a bitch...

As I said at the beginning, its a cheapened G35 for Nissan but FWD. Most likely will come with a 4 cylinder and V6 as an option.

Not possible, its too big to compete for that class, and why a coupe if you want to compete with civic, corolla and mazda3??!?!?
