For Sale is our 2008 Mazda RX-8 40th Anniversary Edition. My wife and I bought this car new in 2008 and have enjoyed it ever since. The motor was rebuilt, and the clutch was replaced, by MazTech in Tampa, FL at 98,000 miles. In the the last 5,000 miles it has had all new coil packs, plug wires, spark plugs, rear o2 sensor, and a new drivers window motor. The car is fitted with aftermarket wheels, but we will include the original wheels also. One of the original wheels has a small crack and will need repair in order to hold air. Hey Jeff,
The condition of the paint is pretty good. There is a small amount of oxidation on the rear spoiler. The car has been garaged most of its life, however it hasn't been in the garage since July(part of why we're selling it). There are less than 25k miles on the tires and they're in great shape. The 40th anniversary has a few differences from other RX8's, the most notable being the paint and interior color scheme as well as the 40th anniversary only wheels. They also came with upgraded suspension that included bilstein shocks and a stiffer, foam filled front crossmember to enhance handling. Other minor differences include the 40th anniversary badging on the fender and floormats as well as the silver engine cover. The car also has the Bose stereo with in dash 6 CD player, but I don't think that was 40AE specific.
