09-11 6 speed manual transmission (PROBLEM SOLVED - NO LONGER NEEDED)

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $1
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): MS
Item Condition: Used

I'm looking for one of these. Mine needs rebuilding and I suppose replacing is better. However my current 05 still works. Apparently the synchronizing ring is going out on it. Does anyone want my old one when it comes out?

I'm sure this problem is in the forum somewhere, but I wanted to share my findings here anyway.

I found that the flex hose from the master to the slave cylinder was flexing and bad. So my tranny is ok. If anyone else is having a problem shifting check out the hose. When the hose gets hot it starts flexing under load and doesn't disengage the clutch fully.

I would like to switch out the transmission but seeing that mine is still good I think I will continue to use it.

I also found this product online:
http://www.friktiontek.com

*I am not a reseller of this product*

The owner recommended it to people with older engines because they would see a difference but I thought that I would use it for Preventative Maintenance measures. Racing engines are sprayed with a ceramic before assembly. I put it in my tranny and engine.
