Track alignment, Master clutch cylinder, Clutch/Brake Fluid (Motul RBF600), Oil change, Spark plugs (NGK-9's all around), and Coolant change with Water Wetter.
What you should know:
The car is 14 years old and does show its age. It needs/will need a paint job soon (which i am/was in no rush to get to, since it is by no means a show car.) The HKS EVC V doesn/hasn't worked since i bought it; i shipped it back to HKS and they say everything's fine. It might be something to do with the stock twins; im not sure. I can adjust boost through the Power FC. The car has a safe tune from Ari Yallon at RX-7.com, but i was going to go with a midpipe before i brought it to KDR to get it dialed in. The spedometer recently started acting up. It would die down then come back on, then flicker up and down, then either shut out or come back on for good. I have lost around 250 miles on the odometer with this.
I brought my car to Synaptic3 for a pre-tune check up, and everything looked to be good. The engine had high compression. The motor was rebuilt at 55,000 miles by Bluegrass Mazda in Kentucky (unfortunately, the proof had been deleted from their records and i didnt get any proof when i bought the car.) Synaptic3 also found that my lower links (bushings are going on both sides) need to be replaced soon.
The car has been raced. i hope you didnt think i would just own a RX-7 and not have some fun with it? i autocrossed it and did a time trial event. The car has been babied and has been checked out after every event. If something was needed, i fixed it (which my receipts most certainly show.)
I have/had high hopes for this car, and it is no where near where i want/wanted it to be. The car would soon be nothing more the a gutted and caged interior with a single turbo built engine. I really havent spared any expense. most of you are probably asking where the rims or single turbo or insert whatever part you want. 1. i am not going to just throw rims on to look good. i wanted wide, lightweight rims wrapped in R-comps. as you can see, my car isnt ready for wide rims and tires (lack of body massage in the fender regions.) 2. i didnt want to just throw a single turbo kit on it and call it a finished project. i have seen too many cars with a single turbo and no supporting mods. i felt it necessary to build the car from the ground up. Safety, reliability, suspension, and then power. the car is still not ready for a single turbo, and thats why i dont have one in the car.

The car, Title (in hand), all parts, all receipts (4.5 years worth- every receipt since i've owned the car: which total around $43,200 in parts and service alone, not including the price i bought the car for), and car cover.
Why:
My mom wants a house, i want my mom to have a house. its as simple as that. there are few opportunities in our lives where we can truly be a hero (unless of course, you're a doctor, police officer, firefighter, or a citizen placed in an extraordinary situation.) When i look back on my life decades from now, this car isnt going to matter; my mom's happiness will still matter much more then anything else. Id love to look back on my life knowing that i made the right decision; i think this is the right decision. i am not going to tell my mom about my plans, because she would want me to be happy. I know she knows this car makes me happy, but i dont want her to talk me out of it. Simple as that.
The Price:
Yes the price is high. No i am not going to decrease it. If i am going to decrease it, it wouldnt be by much. I dont need to sell the car. Granted i would love to for my mom's sake, but i absolutely do not have to. Like i said, i know the price is high, but i feel it is most certainly fair. the amount of time money, effort, sweat and tears that i have put into this car doesnt even cover my asking price. i know i will never get every penny that i have put into the car. simple fact. however, i am not going to sell it for anything less then what it's worth (to me- and trust me, its worth a lot more to me then what im asking.) id rather keep it then sell it for anything less then what i want. i own it outright, i dont need to sell it. if someone wants it, then they can buy it. if no one wants it, i get to enjoy it and save my money to help my mom out as much as i can. i just see this as a shortcut.
yes, it is more the KBB's suggested price. well im not kelly blue book, so thats not what i am asking for the car. if you want the car, you can by the car at my asking price. if you dont want the car, good luck finding one. I AM NOT HERE TO ARGUE THE PRICE OF THE CAR. if someone is truly serious about buying the car, i might negotiate, but it will not be far from my asking price. If i sell it, good. if i dont sell it, good. I have nothing but time, so i am in no rush to sell the car. that is why the price is FIRM. no trades.

i havent had the car on a dyno, so i am not sure how much power it is putting down. After a good tune, it will safely be in the 300rwhp range. i am just not sure how deep into the 3's it will be. i have 2 settings on the PFC: 11psi and 13.5psi. i rarely put it on the 13.5psi setting.

thanks a lot guys for the kind words. i truly appreciate them. i'm just hoping it goes to a good home. car's can come and go, but family is definitely forever. there will be more time for another project in the future.
worse case scenario, ill have to keep the car; which is in no way a bad thing. ill help my mom one way or another. this just seemed like the easiest way so far.

HOLY **** RICK YOUR SELLING IT? (Its Tom from Worcester w/ the white FC. From Boston-Motorsports.com etc). I guess you can only pour so much into a car before your done and ready to move on.
As you can guess I am moving on over to the 8 world, looking for an already turbo'd GT in pearl white to have by July. Im keeping my FC however... slowly putting new parts into it and fixing what ive beaten the crap out of over the years. My house has the garage room for two cars so F it the wife can keep the camry outside in teh rain lol
Potential buyers: I can attest, ive seen what this car does and whats good with it. I have seen the outcome as to how much time effort and money that has been put into it, this machine wont let ya down- you get exactly what you pay for here.
