'05 Auto ECU

I have an RX-8 ECU (automatic) to sell. The box had a handwritten note on it saying it is an '05 model, but the best way to be sure is to match your particular car's ECU by checking it's label.

So what would you do with this? Well the idea I had when I bought it (not realizing it was an auto version and autos connectors are different than MT version) is to use it to reflash and be your 'track' or 'modified' ECU.

That way you can keep your valueable (came with the car) ECU for regular DD duty, but to test tune or for a turbo or supercharger, or tune NA for best power, you can flash away with this without worry about hosing the original. The flash tool you use would need to be able to deactivate the 'immobilizer bit'.
