I JUST drove by MNAO's main building last night while trying to find a restaurant open at 8 PM before picking up my Mustang... This year my significant other will probably be there with me. This will be an exercise in patience for both of us!

 

Good luck with that. I try not to bring anyone I'm dating to anything car related.

 

We've been together 4 years and she's very tolerant of my hobbies/interests as long as it isn't other women. Damn it! I just know she is going to get really bored really fast and want to leave and go shopping. I've told her in the past that the trip out there is for rotary first and if there is any time left, for whatever else there is to do. There is never enough time. This has been pretty good at making her not want o go but now she's curious as she's never been to California. I don't want to get stuck sight seeing around Rodeo drive or in some damn overpriced trendy hair salon. We'll see.

Here's what you do: if she gets bored, have her take the rental car about 2 miles down the road to the Irvine Spectrum, she'll have TONS of fun shopping down there while you enjoy all the sweet rotary cars.

I'm sure any one of us can drive you down there to meet up with her afterwards. See, everyone wins!

 

dude, leave her at the south coast plaza, big mall with expensive shopping boutiques. Its about 15 mins away from 7stock..

 

She could probably get lost in her own subdivision. I'm not letting her take the rental car alone in a strange city!
