Thanks. Powertrix coilovers. Not sure about the exact measurement for drop. I just did a bunch of guess and check height adjustments till it was where I wanted it.

Agreed. Looks sick, but unstreched tires would be even sicker. More sick?

actually i bought them with tires already (tires were brand new on them) , I'm already looking at some wider tires. I'm just gonna wait for these tires to wear out so i can change them out.

Sorry I know this is a rims thread but i got to know. What did you do to paint your calipers? I am really thinking about doing it to my blue r3.

They have DIY kits on tire rack but i was unsure of how that would turn out. what did you do? How are they holding up?

Thanks

I bought the one from Tire Rack. Worked out well for me. It's been a year since I put it on. My calipers were rust free and the cleaning spray they provide works pretty good to get the road grime off. The key is to spend the time on prep, pull all the wheels off at the same time, mix the two part solution and go at it fast. This stuff sets up pretty fast and do it on a cool day or evening and make sure the car is cool to begin with. I had mine in the garage all day and did it in the evening at about 65 degrees.

Don't expect to touch it up the next day as the stuff is already gelled in the can. You can do a minor touch up if you do one pass first, but I'd do a good coat the first time.

I am posting this picture to show the clearance between the brake caliper and the wheel weight on a 17x9 Enkei PF01 (I'd say there is a slightly more than 1/4" gap, roughly speaking). The mounted tires are 255/40/17 RA-1s.

Hey Kster...

You have more pictures of your car with the PF01 17" and if you don't mind, provide us with the specs of the rims too!

Thanks!

I just received the set from Tirerack last week and I haven't mounted them all yet (and no track days coming up). I just installed the one wheel for a test fitting. I'll post some pictures much later when I have them on the car.

They are 17x9 +48 wheels with 255/40/17 RA-1s.

I've heard that with the RPF1, the clearance is tight between the wheel and brake caliper so this looks to be a bit better.
