yeah i'm leaning towards the eibachs as well.

BUT read that lowering springs would void the new car warranty. Not sure what to do now. Thoughts and opinions?

It only voids your warranty for suspension parts.

HI

I'm looking to lower my 2009 RX8 and from the information that I gathered, if I were to purchase springs and shocks (considering Bilstein HDs) made for Series I RX8s (2004-08), the rear would sit approximately 1/2" lower than intended due to the lower placement of the lower shock mount on 2009+ models. I've done a little research and came across the specs for Tein HTECH lowering springs which are said to lower Series I RX8s 1" in the front and .3" in the rear. If my calculations are correct, by installing these springs with shocks spec'ed for a Series I RX8s, my 2009 will sit almost even at 1" lower in the front and rear. If anyone has these installed on their Series II RX8s, please post your experiences or pictures. Thanks in advance.

For reference, I've installed 17x9 45mm Enkei RPF1s with 245/45/17 tires which are pretty close in diameter to factory RX8 wheels.
