say goodbye to your warranty...
you do know that Mazda frequents this site looking for posts such as yours, right?

I guess they would have to prove that he abused his car (just because he said he did it doesn't actually mean that he did)...and how in the world would they find out who he is? (unless he is just no very bright and posts his vin# on the site.)

kenpo: they don't have to prove ANYTHING.
just ask our moderator Abbid who had his warranty denied. If they truly wanted to, I'm sure they could find out who the owner is.

I'm really hoping that doesn't happen, I'm simply stating that it has happened in the past.

i dont belive lose warranty. I dont care too because i am living in Turkey
Mazda claims max speed 235kmh, i make 8700rpm 5th gear 216kmh speed is increasing too slowly and shift the gear 6, speed is going down look like 235kmh is not realistic or my car have problem or 1300meter altitude or something another.
What is your opinion?

my opinion is that doing this on a public road is stupid.
if you are going to top the car out, it'll need to be in 5th

The small add-ons that already don't do much for our cars won't help with the altitude.
That's why many airplanes had turbo piston engines!

Coming from the Evo community...I know all about people getting their warranties voided.

Top speed is somewhere around 250Kph (150mph). We have had members in Germany that have gone that speed. The top speed is only regulated by wind drag.

with the new gearing of R3, 6th is taller 1-5 is lower so probably why 6th is dropping speed.

235hp/3000lbs vs 105hp/540lbs (including rider)

lol Why would they void my warranty if they make a car that is "track ready" and capable of those speed, I didnt decide to put the redline at 9000, they did.

any way, if you do your servicing at the dealer, or you keep all maintenance records, that you do not modify it, they cant void your waranty for pushing the car to its limits
