hello all not sure if this is a issue or not

but installed the axial flow SS for series 2 this weekend, install went mostly OK.

but after install shifter is wobbly say 1/2-3/4 inch movement in a circle no matter what gear or neutral. but it shifts and feels fine when im moving it, it is just when the shifter is stationary it wobbles. im just curious is this normal for it or did i screw something up

did you install the plastic piece from the original shifter?

 

yes i took the top plate off and reused it

 

anyone else have this issue? not even sure it is an issue
