Driving over the causeway today I put the car in 6th gear stepped on the pedal and the car revved to 9k rpms and clutch didn't catch... inside of the car started smelling like burnt plastic and then none of the gears were catching...

SO YA clutch is gone took to dealership right after that they are going to replace

that totally sucks! I had a similar occurance with a jetta I drove in high school, but that was a high mileage car with an original clutch being driven by me, then a stick shift newby. Do you drive in stop/go traffic, or anywhere you may be slipping the clutch a lot? Maybe lots of uphill starts?

Did you have any issues at all yesterday when installing the midpipe and exhaust or is this just a strange coincidence?
Where did you all put the jack stands........etc?

32K then you're still under bumper to bumper warranty. Take it to the dealer and have them replace it for free under warranty.
