RX-8 OEM Automatic Shift ****, Is it just easy as unscrewing it? (Lefty, Loosy)?

I don't want to break my **** trying to unscrew it.

 

my MT just screws off, try twisting? If theres some play to it then keep going. Ill let someone who owns a automatic confirm though.

I did some on-line searching and I could not see exact procedure to remove Auto Shift ****.

Now I have done these on old Mazda Auto Trans before and I see no reason for it to be any different, so yes lefty loosy..you should be OK...they can be pretty tight, more than Manual trans *****.

Yes, try not to break your ****, didn't your father tell you that one...

 

just unscrew it... turn hard to the left, itll go. Ive taken mine off plenty of times
