2009 Mazda RX8 R3 Starting Noise

I've been hearing this noise during start up (video link is included in the post) whenever the car starts up.
As you can hear it makes couple of *tch tch* noise before igniting the engine.
My previous owner did tell me it's probably something to do with the drivers belt, but anyone else have idea on what the issue is?
I recently deflooded the engine and it didn't make this noise prior to flooding so it might be related to that?
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you so much!

It shouldn't have flooded in the first place, so if it's flooding and starting weird, you should probably revisit your ignition system. When were the coils last replaced?

Does it have any other symptoms?

I replaced wires, coils, plugs and battery during deflooding and I double checked to see if they were in correctly, which they were. I can’t seem to find any problems around the ignition...

I also just checked the ignition system (coils, plugs and wires) for like the 3rd time and everything was in a good shape still.
I plugged all of them out and re-plugged them back in properly so I don't think they are the problem...

In that case, it might just be a belt squeak. Do you have an OBD reader to check your starter rpm? It might be a bit slow, hard to tell from video.

See if you can have someone start the car while you're in front with the hood open so you can better localize the sound.

This is the video I took inside the engine bay.

Do you have an idea?

Sounds about the same . You need a human under the hood who can hear the direction of the sound, a video doesn't help with that.

But either way, it doesn't sound unusual, just a bit slow to start. That's why the suggestion to check starting rpm.

I'm glad you said this, I was just thinking I must be going deaf in my old age.

The starting rpm for cold start is around 2200 and then dies down to roughly 750-780 to idle. (Car has no problem idling)
Hot start is around ~1600 rpm and the car starts and drives just fine after both starts.
I had a compression test last year and the engine was still in good shape, so I doubt it has anything to do with the engine.
Like you said, it's just a bit slow to start so is it something I should be worried about?

Here is the video of my car's hot start:

The rpm the starter is turning before it starts is the important thing here. Not the rpm once its running.
That startup is a tag longer than usual.

The starting rpm is ~250 it seems like.
I don't know if this is an issue that I should take care of/ be worried about though
