For the past week or so regardless of what gear I'm in if the RPM is under 2000 I hear this ... rattling noise and it goes away once I get over 3500. The car itself it a 2009 R3 and it's brand new, 2300km on it now, topped it off every 2 tanks, haven't done anything else to it.

Anyone know what the problem could be? This early I don't see what could go wrong with the car since I haven't done anything to mess it up since I got it a month ago ...

can you be more specific? Where is the noise coming from?

 

You should not even bother asking on here. If you can reproduce the rattle every time then take it to the dealer, have a tech listen and it will be their problem to fix it under warranty. You would be much better off doing that than spending your time trying to diagnose it.
