Sounds good. Pretty rich at idle though. Have to live with all those lights though :(

Why Haltech Standalone?
Can this not be done using the original ECU with MazdaEdit or Versatune? |

New set up with gt3071r.
Attachment 219520 Attachment 219521 Attachment 219522 Attachment 219523 No me gusta como quedo abajo la turbina. utilizare el header greddy y lo modificare para montar la turbina frente al motor. pronto nuevas fotos. |
Man that is tight, what are you ding about the engine mount bracket?
|
new set up. gt3071r front the engine.

Attachment 219510
Attachment 219511 Attachment 219512 I think i am the first to do that with greddy parts |
Don't understand why you are doing that? It's going to kill boost response . Couldn't you get the 3071 to fit direct to the manifold ?
|
I'm not sure where this is going.
|
Because more easy to work with the turbo and when i open and rebuilt with new power seal, porting the engine i am goint to install a biger turbo to reach 450rwhp @15psi
|
What did you make on the other setup? Did you blow the engine?
|
You would be better to make a new manifold for that, than to use the Greddy one IMO

For now I invent with greddy manifold. Now I can change the GT30 with the measures I want with out space problem |
new set up
But all new pipe are 2 1/2 with porting and manifold greddy are porting to.

@gamaliel31 why you turn top mount turbo set up bro ? low mount set up throttle response is better than it isn't it ?
|
wait, you used a fubar Greddy exhaust manifold to make a top/front mount manifold?
I have now truely seen it all ... |

Yes, low mount better response, top mount, more space to make changes, in addition I prepare to mount a bigger turbo then. Throttle response 500rpm is the difference |

You can make a proper top mount manifold about as easy as converting a Greddy manifold.
wow, just wow .... |

Team, it has been done before. It never ran but it was done,

Just as bad or worse for a larger turbo since that manifold design is very restrictive

Find me on facebook Gamaliel Galan. I have videos and first turn on and first run with out tune and wastegate probleme. |

Positive changes. The car feels lighter. Passenger side is not so hot. Respond more quickly without a good tune.
Haltech electronic boost control Attachment 219410 |
You added more weight in front of the engine but the car feels lighter? And yeah that is a standard Mac valve.

Yes, works well. The boost begins to 4,800. I am Waiting for electronic selenoid to control boost with my Haltech. Then dyno and tune at 9psi.
Find me on facebook Gamaliel Galan. I have videos and first turn on and first run with out tune and wastegate probleme. I guess it does make your high hp goals more achievable , but i think you will miss the response you had for around town drivability. |
