HRE. I don't think that I have ever seen a set of HRE on a riced out car. I think they're classy.

HREs are nice, just a little on the heavy side and for what you get very expensive... Rob: Yeah, get the silver; looks way better than the black...

Huff, or vivid has them on his RX-8. They look gorgeous, not to mention light. TE-37's will never get old.

Como esta manok_adobo?

The G-Games wheel isn't that bad looking. If you want hyperblack, you could always get it powdercoated.

I've got a pearl white 8 and I cant stop thinking about gunmetal w/ a dark tint on the windows & smoked clears. I've got black/black leather inside and think going with a black/white contrast scheme throughout the whole car would be pretty slick.. if i did go all out, then maybe some gunmetal strakes would accent the rims?

Its a bit of a radical change through and i'm hesitant to look more seriously into it.
I'm still playing with the idea a LOT so any opinions would be greatly appriciated.

For some reason Tire Rack's website now only shows the Black SP1's (they had the silver on the site before).

Now I'm leaning heavily towards the Super Black Coat SSR Professors!

Crap, just got an email from Wholesale Hyperformance that they no longer carry SSR wheels.

I can see that the professors will be a challenge to track down.

I've posted these before but I love the wheels made by these guys, seen a lot of them at events etc. on the high dollar rides like vipers etc. probably will have to get them custom made if I ever have enough play money lying around www.ccustomwheel.com

Cortc,

Could you do me a favor and summarize for me why one would want to get new wheels in something other than the 18 x 8 size? I see that you and others have gone for larger and/or wider and/or staggered set-ups. I haven't seen any staggered set-ups in person but it seems like it would look funny.

As far as larger/wider... did Mazda not put the ideal size for looks/performance compromise on stock? Why change? Geniunely curios because i want to get wheels in the near future (right now my favorites are coincidentally the ones you are getting)
