Your Favorite Wheels for the RX-8
I'm having a hard time deciding on what aftermarket wheels I will want to put on my RX-8 when I get it.
As such, I think it would be both helpful to me, and cool in general, if people could post a picture (or a link) of their favorite aftermarket wheels for the RX-8. I
If possible, I would obviously prefer that the pictures actually show the wheels on the RX-8.
BTW, I did do a search but nothing came up, so I hope this hasn't been done before.

No, my '8 is box-stock right now, but I've had many wheel/tire combos on my Miata, and yes heavy wheels can make your car feel lead-footed. Not necessarily slower in a straight line (although they will slow you down a touch) but more clumsy over rough roads. The RX-8 has great handling and a heavy wheel will screw it up.
I'm not sure if you'd feel these wheels over the stockers, though. There is some debate over the weight of the stock wheels. If they are 22 lbs, then these would be an improvement, but not a drastic one. Basically you could put 245s on and not worry about the weight. If the stockers are 18.5 lbs, then you are just keeping pace.

My favorite wheels are the ADVAN RG, Gram Lights 57Pro, and SSR Type C's. I was considering the SSR Mesh, but I would think they are slightly heavier than the former.
ADVAN RG
Gram Lights 57Pro
SSR Type-C
I'm also looking at this wheel, the Super ADVAN Racing Version 2. It looks very JDM.

It really comes down to whether you like the "rivets" or not. I do, so I prefer them over the Hiros.
Great pics so far people, keep them coming!

when i have the money(read not for a long time- baby coming soon)i will get the wheels by paul yaw he doesn't list a price there but it can be had via email. the rivets in these wheels, someone said they didnt like rivets, are purely functional as that is what hold these modular wheels together. he is going to use these same wheels(although slightly wider) on his supercharged Speed World Callenge RX-8.
