I'm an avid powder skier, a local mountain known for world record overnight snowfall has a parking lot that you drive 2 hours to get to 30,000 feet up, only me and 4 other vehicles made it up after a 50inch snowfall to provide the most amazing powder day with no one on the hill.

I'm rocking the black 17"steelies as well. (the 18"Potenzas were downright scary in the snow)

Those are Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT tires.
They have outperformed my expectations thus far this winter. I've driven them to go skiing and my RX-8 is my DD. I haven't had any issues at all with these tires.
