Dude thanks for the advice.

Here are the three wheels that I'm looking at and its my first time buying new wheels. I'm not sure what kind of offset I would need for 8"/8.5".

I just dropped $900 for some snow tires so I can only spend so much on wheels for the summer.

I'm looking for some black wheels for my BB RX8, so if you have any other suggestions other than these, that would be great.

Its YOUR choice, personally I dont like any of those wheels.

If you are getting it from tire rack, don't worry about the offset it will fit, you wont rub, no problems. Tirerack always sells weak fitments haha.

just checking one last time....

front: 18x8 +33 w/ 245/45/18
rear: 18x9 +27 with rolled fenders w/ 245/45/18

Does that setup work well and would there be any changes in tires to improve fitment?

Got the new wheels tonight.... Volk SF Winning.... purchased locally... had the guy take off the OEM w/ TPMS and put the Volks on for me at his house... On my way home... of course the TPMS comes on... Does anyone know if these wheels will take the TPMS? Would like to know ASAP, that way I can have my service department take them from the OEM, and put them on the Volks.... Thanks guys....

SF Winning are two piece right? If so then I believe they will not take TPMS.

Ok I read through 30 pages and couldn't take it any more..

Stock Height

I'm getting a set of R-1 Drift wheels

20x8.5 +35 offset up front with 245/35/R20

20x10 +40 offset In Back with 275/30/R20

I'm not completely opposed to rolling fenders but the idea of gettin crazy with camber seems rediculous to me.. and the completely stretched rim sticking out an inch from the barely fitting tire isn't all that attractive either..

Will these fit!?

Ok, i'll take a stab at this one -

The front's will fit fine - and the rear's will fit fine as well. You'll only run into a problem if you lower the car. The rears will stick out and depending on how low you go, you may need to flare the fender and stretch the tire.

Well in that case.. Excellent..

I'm not planning on lowering it I don't think..

The R-1 Drift rims are about the biggest sexxiest rims I can find with an amazing 5" lip.. RaWr!

I cannot believe how many staggered wheeels only come in offsets for the 350Z and Mustang.. I hope all those cars burn for this..

officially irritated.

Drift R-1's FTW!

Ohh it was either those or I was gonna steal Nuke0907's 19" Axis Matrix wheels while he was sleeping.. soo hot.

But thanks for the info. Hope they fit. :D

Once again... need some answer from you great people!

20x8.5 ET 30
or
20x8.5 ET 35
or
20x8.5 ET 40

F/R 255/30 R20.

Will they all fit?
And will they all fit with a 1 inch drop down?

^Why does everyone want 20" wheels for the rx8? They DON'T look good... And all of those will fit without a drop. With a 1" drop the +40 will fit for sure. And possibly the +35.

sooo.. What do you think Nuke's 19" Axis Matrix wheel's would look like in the Black W/ Rose Gold Lip on a Winning blue 8?

I wanna think it would look super hott.. but I can't bring myself to buy them.. :S

I'd like to believe it would have the same effect as a Blue WRX STI with Gold wheels only way sweeter but I dunno..

opinions?

and I would def stick with the 19's unless you think I could squeeze the 20x10.5 +35 in the back with a 20x9 +22 up front.. hahaha stupid mustang offsets..

decisions decisions..

Ok I know I know, I've been asking about all kinds of wheels, but found another set that is sweet as hell, that I'm curious if they'll fit.

18x10 +48 Front/Rear

IF in fact these will fit, what size tire? The car is stock height, but if it did receive a drop it would be a small one by a set of springs and not coilovers.

Prefer not to roll fenders, but if it absolutely requires it, then so be it.
