Thanks to everyone for all the help!!! One last question. If I went with a 19X8.5 setup, but had +45mm offset in the front and +35mm offset in the back, would there be any real noticeable difference, or would they look the same as far as concaveness goes?

at first glance - you probably won't notice - it just depends on how perceptive you are. I'm sure most who aren't aware of how important offset is, it'll look similar. But i'm sure you'll see for yourself shortly

btw - +35 will look better on 8.5's

It also depends on the design of the wheel. Not all wheels with a +35 offset will have the same concave look as others.

Ok have finally decided on a set of wheels for mah car, and just want to make sure they'll fit.

The car is a 2004 GT that is getting dropped on TEIN S.Techs.

19x9.5 +40 all around w/ 245/35/19s

If there is a better size tire, let me know. Just tryin to base that size on the specs of a 275/35/18

Nuke has 19x9.5 with a +40 offset and he runs 265/30/19's and has no problem with rubbing. He is lowered on S Techs as well.

you know, i was just wondering - where are all the people that we help on this thread?

I'd really like to see what they went with and what it looks like.

aside from riken and top gear who are always on this thread - i'd like to see what others that have gone with.

Pic's would really be nice in this thread IMO.

Axis Seven Mod wheels. 5x100 and 5x114.3 bolt pattern with a +35mm offset... Is this a good wheel to buy? and will it fit? Anyone have any idea what the weight is? I'm looking for lightweight.
