here is my stupid question would 225/45/18 fit on those wheels?

also what are the stock wheel size for the rx8 are the ones im looking at bigger or smaller?

if those tires dont fit what size and spec would i need to fit on those rims
that's stock size I think, unless its an R3 (then they're just 19s). yes those tires will fit no problem

That is only 10mm less offset than the factory wheels and 225/45-18 is the stock tire size. It will look weak as hell but it will fit easily

why you say its gonna look weak as hell? are there gonna be wider or more narrow then the stock ones?
im a bit confused on what makes a tire wider and and more narrow. Whats the max size and offset i could go with no fender roll? considering we stay with 18's

Bump. Looking to be very aggressively stanced. Not looking for opinions about the scene.

I'll have to run adapters due to the bolt pattern, so bear in mind that's another 15-20mm. I plan to roll, shave and even potentially pull my fenders if needed, as I'd like to avoid getting flares at all costs.

I'm open to tire size recommendations as well.

Thanks!
Didn't really get a helpful response last time, except to say I'll need a roll. Can't be that easy, and I still can't find a definite answer anywhere. Thanks!

Hey, that's a really cool story bro. Let's all sit in a circle and punch ourselves in the intelligence, instead of realizing that it's actually easier to just... oh, I don't know, accept a different taste. You could just help after all, but I guess you reflect society's ignorance nowadays.

Polish Person, I guess I'll help you out considering my setup is going to be much more aggressive than you.
But before I get into any issues, the rears wont fit, not even close. Its going to rub your suspension on the inside. You're going to need an offset closer to +10 if you dont want an 18x12 to hit your suspension.

so looked it up on the web on a cool webpage i found so seems like a the bigger the positive offset pushes then wheel in towards the car. and a lower offset say 20 pushes the wheel out towards the fender/wing of the car.

now that i understand that whats the lowest offset i could go with 18x8.5? i basically have 2 options 45mm and 20mm or Else it drops to 18x9 32mm im dropping the car by about 1inch so keep that in mind.

glad you actually did some research. Honestly I've seen people with a 9.5" wheel do negative offsets on Rx8's. I think with 18x9 +32 you would be looking at little to know fender work with the right size tire.

haha an inch is nothing.
on a 9" wheel I would run like a 245/40 if you dont want a stretched tire.

I have 225/35's on an 18x11, I think you'll be okay. I would suggest doing a 40 sidewall though, 45 is too big.

Alright if i planned on getting 18x8 or 18x8.5 in front and 18x9 in the back do any problems occur for road safety or ECU or Speedometer.? And do i need to keep the same offset infront as back?

also would that look stupid?

No you wont have any problems, but I would go the same all the way around. easier and cheaper for tire sake

Adapters wouldn't help push the wheel out? Thought they might fit if spaced out and with a bit of camber. Especially since the stock wheels run +50 offset.

Thanks anyway!

It seems math isnt your strong suit. He says you would need 50mm adapters for it to not rub on the inside.
