255/40 will work. Why go wider than that though?

Why would it look awful ? because it is unlowered ?
The rims when i order them will roughly take 3 months to get here by which time I'll have a body kit on and I'm not lowering my 8 with a body kit on it considering the body kit will drop the car's distance to the ground I highly doubt they will "look awful" ?

I wouldn't want to go wider I was just wondering. I think 255/40 would look ok on stock rims. I haven't lowered it so I don't know if it would still look ok as 40 and not 45. Thanks for the reply though.

I know it's the height of the sidewall but I don't like it when there's a big gap in between the top of the tire to the wheel well, I think it looks kinda dumb that's why I was wondering if 255/45 would look better than 255/40. I will probably get a 255/40 anyway.

255/45 would not be the same height as a 900/45.

That's not how this thread works. We need your suspension info, amount of fender work you'll do, wheel specs, and tire specs.

Will this fit on a moderate drop? Not willing to do any fender rolling.

Rear
Size: 19x8.5
Offset: +33mm
Tire: 275/35-19

Thanks!!

Yea either one with 245/40 or 255/40 if you don't plan on lowering (I'd do +45 if choosing the wider tire)

How have i not listed enough info for help? i clearly stated wheel and tire specs. on one of the first posts on this thread it was said that suspension info was not that important but i am currently stock but looking to get coilovers, which is why i asked for advice! i figured since it was a thread about what will fit that someone would tell me something other than you havent listed enough info or "cant help you if you cant read", like one guy said.

So you want an answer even though you KNOWINGLY haven't given us the information we need? What the **** kind of reasoning is that? None of the stuff you posted will work with your setup.
