Will It Fit Thread
#577
I am looking at getiing some 5zigen ZR+ 520 s in 18 x 8.5 +47 to run with my 225 /45 18R 91W Dunlops SP Sprot 8090 that came with the vehicle. I have been switcing between winter and summer tires on Stock wheels now for three years, so have some miles left on them (only 21,000 on vehicle). I am looking to get summer wheels with new summer tires when these wear out. Any tire size suggetions to fit this wheel and will my currnt tires fit this 1/2 in larger rim width well enough? I think I am going to be pushihg it?
I am also considering 19x9 +32- +42 all the way around with 245/40 19 fr and 255/40 19 rear? Will they fit with stock suppension? Here in Michigan roads are bad in general throughout the state, so I wont be lowering anything. I tires I am looking at would get with the last setup are BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW2 s

Ok,I posted wrong info on my previous question.
I want to know if 18x9 5-114 w/ +25mm offset would fit on my '07 RX8.I listed the offset as +38 in my previous post.If I need spacers, where is a good place to get them and what size would I need?
I'm curious b/c I spent a small fortune for these wheels on my previous car and would hate to have to part with them.
Thanx!

works emotions 18x8 +35 with falken fk452's-235/40/18? please someone I want to order these asap, I just want to know if the tire will rub the outside fender since I'd be bringing it out almost 1 1/4th and inch.
Or my other option same wheel but 18x8.5 with a 48 offset and some 5mm (or larger) spacers.

235/275 wil look good...the stretch look is what I'm getting rid of....18x8.5 with 225 and 19x9.5 with 255. Those are too stretched for my taste. Moving the 255s up front and getting 275s for the rear. This way, the tires are nice and even vertically with the wheel.

18x9 +37
Can anyone recommend a nice fitment for tires size: 18x9 +37 all the way around and avoid rubbing? Also on a side note I looked into some Greddy S Type suspension and found out that it does not have camber adjustment...is this normal on aftermarket suspension? a lot of the RX8 aftermarket suspension does not have camber adjustment...I thought it was a bit strange

Please! Need help badly!
I am going to buying new wheels and tires so I really need some help soon please? Because I have not seen the exact answer here or elsewhere even when seached it is a little different. I have 2005 Ti-Grey GT sport 6spd manual I have notied my passenger rear fender is 3/4" of an inch lower than the driver side on the rear wheel wells. I am at stock height and intend to keep it that way for now (Michigan has bad roads w lots of big pot holes). I want to go with 40 and 35 profiles on my tires to give me a little more cushion between the road and rim? I am not as concerned with the thin tire look as preserving the wheels. I also do not want to lower it because of the depth of some wells can be about 4-5" on asphalt roads arond here have between road center an where most tires ride form heavy trucks (states broke so fixes are long way off).
Can I run a:
senario 1) Volk GTC
F: 19 X 8.5 +43 F w/ 245/40 19
R: 19 X 9.5 +49 R w/ 275/35 19
senario 2) is: Axis - Shine or Hiro
F: 19 x 8.5 +35 F w/ 245/40/ 19
R: 19 x 9.5 +40 R w/275/35/19
I do not want to roll fenders if I do not have to. My current 225/40/18 Dunlops winter sports on my stock wheels are on 1" from top of tire to the top edge of the wheel well.
These rear wheels and tires would be 1.5" biger overal so 3/4" but would stick out 1.4" farther according to the Wheel tire computer size on. http://www.wheelsmaster.com/rt_specs.jsp
It seems to far but many seem to be runnig this set up on 275/30/19s with no issuues so they claim. I need advice and I do not even know if I can find summer preformance tires in these sizes?

I was just referring to what tires I currently have to swap. The 235/275 combo is one of the most popular fitments for staggered.

Can someone tell me if I should run into any handling or fitment problems with the following?
18x8 +35mm with a 245/40/18 tire and I'm lowered on Tein S-Techs.

I Have an issue sizes are not fitting on stock hieght?
Anyone who can help? I had a problem though see below. Stock height 05 TiGrey 6MS GT I wanted more tire between road and rim cause Michigan roads are bad, so I went with the scenario 2

I asked them to give me Falken 452s but hey didn’t come in so they suggested Dunlop Sport Maxx Actually may be a better tire from what I have read.
When we mounted onerear to check it out it was okay, but the front and the 245/40/19 rubbed up front when you turned the wheels about 80% out at the back outside of the well where the corner of the tire comes in to contact with the outside rear portion of the well (3 inches into the well there is protrusion where the plastic sticks in to the well with metal behind it). Here is my question if I go with a 245/35/ZR19 there is a 3.1% difference in height 25.8 vs. 26.6 from front to rear.
The guys at the tire shop said that if you have less than 5% difference it should not affect braking (kicking in the antilock) or DCS. Is that true?
My original set up had only 0.6% difference and if I went with a 255/35/ZR19 there would only be a 2.1% difference but I fear the 255/35/ZR19 might rub as well because they would be wider?
What do you think it is only 3/8 of and inch or so, but it wil just clear with the smaller tire.
If I use the 245/35/ZR19 will it work. Do you think the size difference will affect the driving or the antilock brakes and DCS? If so I am bot going to do that.
I do not want to get stuck with owning tires and wheel set up that doesn’t work.
So do you think the 245/35/ZR19 will work with the 275/35/ZR19 in back?

Tire size info
I just bought a set of Buddyclub P1 racing forged wheels. The size is as follows:
Front - 19x9 25 offset
Rear - 19x10 25 offset
Im wondering what size tires I should be running for this setup, I have no suspension upgrades yet. Will this setup fit without rubbing??
