Sorry 18x9.5 +40. They only sell them in 5x120 but I can custom order 5x114.3. So 18x9.5 +40 will look legit? I just have my mind set, I wish they were 18x9 +30.

Why the hell don't these wheel sites let you search by exact size and offset?

And without spacers? I still want to be able to throw my car around the track and through the canyons so i have to compromise somewhere.

^Take the spacers off and it will work great on the track... You won't notice any change in suspension geometry..

With the 10mm spacers it will need some plastic trimming in the rear but look good.

Well I went through about 60 or so pages, so I found most of what I need. But I have a few other questions. Im still debating whether I want staggered or 9.5 all around.

Btw, I've been looking at Rota's P-45Rs

2. Is the car not stock height?
S-Techs and stock struts

3. Have the fenders been modified in any way?
No, Dosent matter as long as its minor.

4. Please state wheel width, offset, and diameter.
F - 18x8.5 +35
R - 18x9.5 +35 ???

5. Please state the proposed tire width and profile.
F - 245/40 ???
R - 265/35 ???

Thanks

I guess we will see, I love these wheels, and love the fact that no one in the RX-8 world has done them but I wish they could do 18x9 +30.

No matter how much I like a set of wheels, I wouldn't buy them knowing that they wouldn't fit as well as I'd like. Just my $.02, but seems like a waste if you're not going to be 100% happy with them from the get-go.

I'm thinking with 265's you might be able to not have to roll fenders (if that sort of thing bothers you).

I think 9.5 +40 is a damn good size for dual duty. Spacers for the street that give a nice flush look and then take them off for damn near the same fit as rpf1 that everyone gets.

FWIW when I had ms springs and koni struts I rubbed through the plastic a little in the rear with 9.5 +33 and 245s. I couldnt feel it but I could smell it after driving through a parking garage (weight transferred to the rear on inclines). 265s might not need the fenders rolled but I bet it's close.

The wheels are only for Bimmers and Mercs (5x112 & 5x120 I believe). I would be paying extra (very little though) for them to redrill the 5x112 and increase the center bore to 67.1. But the wheels only come in 18x8.5 +35 and 18x9.5 +40. I am somewhat worried about not being totally happy but at the same time I am totally comfortable running spacers and 10mm spacers would make the 18x9.5 +40's look sick.

Now, my question is would a 245/40-18 on the 9.5" be such a stretch that it would affect the performance of the tire? Th reason I ask is that i just purchased a set 245/40-18's last weekend, I'd like to use them but if the stretch is too much, I would just suck it up and get some 255's or 265's.

Would pictures of 18x9.5 +33/+28 with 245/40 suit you? http://www.flickr.com/photos/j863562...7623744260352/ It's not a stretch if it meets the tire manufacturer's wheel sizing IMO. I have Nitto Invo and I think they run slightly wider than your average 245.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/j863562...7611482633008/ This is older and when I had the MS springs/Koni combo and no spacers. 9.5 +38 all around

I only have these tires because I was in a similar situation to you. I wish they made a 265 with the height of the 275/35 but the little bit of difference in height would make me scrape going into my garage believe it or not. My plan is to get some 10 or 10.5 wide wheels sometime and run 275s.

I would have to do that 5 times as I park on the 6th floor. I really, really, really want to just buy a house so I can go Sifu low.

****, so the second set is pretty close to what I am looking at and it sits pretty flush without spacers. I think I am sold on the 18x9.5 +40 and then I will play with some 10mm spacers.
