Can i change the camber to a point to make a difference on a stock suspension (except for springs)?? And if so, what would you say i would need?
I am an FC guy, and we can't change our camber in the rear at all unless we get aftermarket Camber control rods.

I'm sure that you can but that wouldn't really do you any good. If you're looking to achieve a much more flush look you're going to need to be lowered. Otherwise you'll have poked wheels w/camber at OEM ride height.

TrevorsTII---- http://www.flickr.com/photos/j863562...7623744260352/ 18x9.5 +38/+28 with 245/40 lowered pretty close to the same as you with -2.2 camber all around

http://www.flickr.com/photos/j863562...7611482633008/ 18x9.5 +38 all around with 245/40 MS springs and Koni shocks (about .8-.9" of drop) not sure on camber but less than now

That should be helpful. I have a 5mm spacer in the front now. I had to roll my fenders for any offset lower than +33 in the rear but people have pulled off 275s on 9.5 +35 and sworn they didnt have to roll the fenders ( I call BS personally)

Atilla- I am lowered on Tanabe springs as stated before 1.2in drop. But my main question is on the camber. I haven't really looked, i know i should and will but i'll ask you anyways. What is the most - camber i can do without getting coil-overs and any aftermarket camber plates or adjusting bars? Like i said, i am more familiar with FC suspension and we had to get some sort of camber rods or plates to change rear camber at all.

j8635621- Pics are great. And that looks about what i would want but with maybe a 255 tire, but can i achieve that -2.2 camber with stock suspension (other than springs)?

You guys are really great help and appreciate everything. Its amazing the amount of knowledge that i can gain by talking to you guys about this. Thanks

The stock suspension on an rx8 is adjustable for camber all around. You shouldn't have any trouble getting the amount of camber you need with those springs installed. Be careful as 255/40 is the same height as stock, but with the lower offset it can make the tire rub on the front fenderliner. My 245/40 rubs just barely.

No problem. I'm running 19x8.5" +40 on 245/35 and lowered with Tein Flex coilovers.

I looked up some tires saying 8 in is the minimum width. if I run at minimum width, will I compromise the performance?

8.5 X 19" ET35 FRONT 225/40/19

9.5 X 19 ET35 REAR 245/35/19
Stock height

Would these be ok?Any wheel stretch?
Want to keep the stock tire diameter
Should I go 245/35/19 front and 255/35/19 or 265/30/19 rear?

For a drop I am thinking for Tein H.Tech(0.8''--0.3'') dont want any fender roll

Thanks!!

Im lowered with eibach pro kit 1.2 front 1.2 or .8 back

If i get 18x9.5 + 38mm all the way around with 245/40/18 for rubber. Is this gonna be fine or might i have to do some fender rolling?

^Yes, but unless they are race tires...265's will look retarded on stock wheels...Don't go above 245's.

You'll be fine. No rubbing as long as you have enough camber.

Would a 18x10 wheels with e.t. 38+ on all four corners be easy to fit with a fender roll? I plan to run at least 265s if possible on all corners.

anyone put a 305-315 size rear in the back? Was looking at minimum wheel with to run that with a nice straight fit on the tire...no stretch.

LMK what you guys ran

still some clearance. The Reverend is running 18x10 +30 and still has some clearance. I'm certain 18x10 +40 or +38 shouldn't be a problem after some rolled fenders and some slight camber.

Not DOT race tires, but not far off. Might just save the $$$ and stay with 225/35s til i can afford some decent rims.... Wish i would afford some 16-17 pounders, and find a way to put a quad rotor motor under the hood. Little and big dreams, yay.

Those will be "ok." It isn't wheel stretch FYI. It is tire stretch and you would have a little tiny bit of it with the original sizes. You should go with 245/35 front and 255/35 in the back. 265/30 should be alright too. Different sized tires in the front and back is not the best for performance, so keep that in mind.
