Depends on HOW aggressive you want... I'm sure if you found a competent shop they could fit a 225 on a 10"

^A few people have that setup on this site. The 5Zigen FN01R-C's. They are on 245's, and one is on 255's. You will run into rubbing problems unless you have a pull.

get 255/40, I'm on that setup with 245/45, 245 is not enough tire, if you aggressively drive the car frequently.

And I have 9.5 (F) and 10.5 (R) with 265s (Proxes R1R) all around and I can still break the car loose if I want...

So I will have a 18x9 +30 all around dropped on s-techs.
Can I fit a 245/40 or will I have to go with a 245/35 without a roll?

Thanks

Thanks, are you saying I should go with the 40 just for ride comfort?

Gotcha thanks, I would only have to roll the front right?
but if I roll the fenders I might as well just go to a 255 right?

Yeah, you can get a 255. If your gonna roll your fonts, roll your rears at the same time.

Ings TS06

Wheel Diameter (F/R): 18's
Wheel Width (F/R): 9.5
Wheel Offset (F/R): +40mm

Suspensions Changes: Koni yellow's with Tein S-Tech's

Tires: 255 on all four corners.

Question: will it fit? I really need to know if this will fit without any major suspension modifications. In other words I want to avoid premature tire wear due to heavy camber settings. Set it and forget it.

Picture with rim/tire choice information:

with 255/40's you should have no problems with that setup

i don't think you even need to worry about rolling the fenders either

What profile do you plan to run with the 255's? Depending on tire and profile you could rub on the wheel liner up front. Also depends how much your spring/shock combo lowers your car.

Thanks for the replies guys!

Atilla...yes...Wheels = HAWT'ness!

I need to make some corrections cause I wrote down the wrong offset. It seems the Ings wheels on that Rx8 are running a +34mm setup. So this is the correct setup plus the information on my drop...

Wheel Diameter (F/R): 18's
Wheel Width (F/R): 9.5
Wheel Offset (F/R): +34mm

Suspensions Changes: Koni yellow's with Tein S-Tech's
Drop: Front - 1.4 inches, Rear - 0.7 inches

Tires: 255 on all four corners...perhaps a 35 sidewall.

i have 18 x 8 O.Z.'s. What size tires would look nice on these? I kinda like the beefy look.. so i was thinking 255/35 or up to 275/35. how would that look?

It'll look retarded
if u want a "beefy" look get a bigger sidewall like 235/45
