Dozer's rear wheels are the same spec's. as long as you don't push over 245's

more than likely with the correct tire. At the most, possibly a slight roll depending on the spring rate of your suspension

I'm looking at some MB Weapon wheels, 18x8 +30 offset, stock size tires 225/45, My car is dropped on Sprint Springs, 2" drop, I currently have no rubbing issues with stock wheels and tire size. Will it fit?

if i have coilovers then i won't need camber kits for camber adjustment right? would the camber plate on the coilover do the work?

I know in drag racing we put skinny runners up front and fat bastards out back. I was wondering for road course or, god forbid cone dodging, would a staggered wheel size from front to back still be acceptable just no runners obviously? Or is it more usual to see 4 matched wheel and tire sizes? Guess I should try to find semi pro race specs but figures I would start here. I would love a set of 18x10s on 295/30s or something and just 18x8.5 up front with what I have now 265/45s.

^Most people around here keep the same sizes all around so it does not upset the 50/50 weight distribution. Cars like the #70 SpeedSource car do run staggered setups...But that's not even an rx8 anymore, so you can't compair.

using two different, but almost similar wheel/tire sizes like this isn't very smart put 18 x 9.5 +40 or higher with 265s on all four corners or 18 x 8.5 +35 and 255s on all four corners

Sorry, but this post is useless without an offset number. I run 18x9.5 +45 with 275's all around, and I am dropped lower then S Techs, no rubbing what so ever...

well like i said i pulled these fresh tires (maybe 300 miles) off my last car before i got the 8 and would like to use them. i do not auto x or anything like that. just daily driving with a little "fun" here and there. i think i'll be ok as long as i dont rub.

thanks for the input

hey man - i've gotten quite a bit of input from atilla, but just caught this post of yours so thought i'd ask...18x9.5 but +30 with tein s drop...should i go 265 or 275? rolling fender or not...in your experience what's the "coverage" (sidewall) like with 275s on a 9.5? nuke is running 265's i think and said there wasn't too much wheel-edge protection so i'm leaning 275s...

Just ordered some Stern ST-1 19x8.5 +38. I decided not to go staggered. I know they are heavy... anyway ...
I am being told by same place I shouldnt go any bigger than 235's.
I have stock suspension (cant drop because driveway already scraps if not REALLY careful).
I don't want to rub of course as I put at least 60 miles a day commuting on her.
Is that as big as I should go? Or does it depend on the tire?

^YOu can get 255 all around and be fine, and if you get a 9"+ rim you can get 265 all around

price being a consideration I was thinking maybe 245/40-19's as there seems to be a lot of choices in that size.
What are opinions of the falken fk-452s? Since I put a lot of miles on her... tires will go fast so cheap is good.

Even with a 265 you will run in the front without a roll and some negative camber.

I'm sorry guys they are +35 offset. I rolled the fenders and cut some of the plastic out and it rides fine now.

18" x 9" ET30

Using 245/40/18 tyres

First of all, would the alloys fit the car, and secondly would the tyres be wide enough?

Cheers
