Just to note for anyone that may be interested, the duct tape strip I put over the rub mark a month or so back never ripped through. In fact just very minor rub marks on the tape so I do not think there is anything to be concerned about.

The few online tire calculators I used showed 255/35/19 to be the closest to OE specs. Obviously not all tires are exactly the same size and I believe the KDW2 tires or the set on my car a wider than other tires of the same size.
