Wheel Warranty...please confirm
Hey all, I got the wheel and tire warranty from Mazda ($500 for 5 years coverage of low profile tires and alloy wheels seemed pretty decent to me, especially living in Pennsylvania). I recently scratched my wheel doing about my 5th u-turn in a row while getting lost in Newark, NJ. Is it true that my wheel wont be covered if the rim is still usable? Its a shame cause I only have 2000 miles on the car and take care of it obsessively
please just try to answer my question without making comments about hitting the curb/buying the warranty/anything else you would like to blame me for.
Oh, and my warranty info is not with me at the moment, so i can't read the fine print or investigate myself.

The 'loop holes' are exactly the reason I opted to not get the wheel coverage. I hope the dealer takes care of you considering you paid for the additional coverage. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.......throw a fit in the service dept if you have to.
